Ted, Robert, Angel and Dan

1. Technology will make us live forever. (Eventually) Humans could sustain any injury, disease, and boost regeneration through technology and scientific research.

2. An increase in technology will change Beliefs/Ideas (Religious, Cultural, Social)

3. Technology will decrease the value of manual labor, (or hard work in general)

Immortality, throughout many beliefs the most divine beings were immortal. Death was not something many willingly accepted. I can personally say that I would very much like to live forever and be healthy, I do not know to many people who wouldn't. Although would living forever be a curse or a blessing? And will it conflict with many beliefs and ideas? What of those who are not immortal, what are they to do?
Scientists say that Charles Darwin made the greatest scientific discovery in the history of man kind, evolution. His ideas conflicted with what was the majority of the religion around him Christianity, although he gave up his belief long before he recorded his theory. I can personally say that I think science doesn't have all the answers, but could further advancements of technology lose trend to beliefs/ideas? Will cultures be changed? Will people accept change, or will they fear it? If technology does everything for us what will we do? Would we become vulnerable to nature?
