Enemies of Promise /Blog Posting

Assumption:Technology is often utilized in a progressive manner, but can also be harmful to others (and self) when exploited.

Questions Indexed below:

Does technology in our everyday life create laziness or enhance quality of life?

Does Climate and Environment clearly impact our activities on a daily basis, re: indoor or outdoor activities. Skiing vs. watching TV?

The ability to communicate via several mediums dilutes our social activities. Therefore, people are more disconnected. What are such disconnects?

People are now able to assume various personalities online: i.e Dateline (To catch a Predator). Why?

At what point does the ambition of science intersect with the conservative notions and Ideals of the church?

Ok so, I was going to try to edit this post but I can't figure out if I can or if I'm not allowed or what, but I know that we have decided to each take care of a question and since no one else seems to have posted, ill take one randomly:

assumption number 3 - Science and technology are part of human evolution.

Question: Could science and technology stop evolving? Could we continue to evolve without it? Could we abandon technology today and survive? Could a balance be struck between the evolution of humanity and technology or will one always be a negative necessity of the other?

Is the evolution of technology a balanced progress, with equal positive and negative aspects, or has the evolution in technology hurt us rather than help us?
