Assignment #1

Well having a blog in class is a definite first for me. I'm open to the idea of it, I can't see how it could hurt my learning experience. The only thing that I really wonder is whether students are going to be posting things to be discussed or does that responsibility fall squarely on Mara. If someone finds something interesting while surfing the web can he or she post it on the class blog? Then I wonder how many people would actually go through that extra work because I'm sure we will be given enough to comment on anyway. I've never read an actual blog before, much less written one but I'm looking forward to the opportunity.
